Interested in joining the lab?

Our team is seeking volunteer research assistants to participate in one or more of several projects related to LGBTQ health. There are multiple projects that students may work on including: clinical intervention studies, The PRIDE Study (pridestudy.org: a national longitudinal cohort study of the health of LGBTQ people), online LGBTQ mental health studies, studies investigating the molecular impacts of stress, and studies that directly examine sexual minority stress. Projects may involve tasks such as: recruiting research participants in medical settings, conducting qualitative interviews, designing Qualtrics surveys, collecting data from participants, and working with data. Motivated students may have opportunities for presentations and/or publications. 

Time Commitment: The volunteer commitment would require a minimum of 8-10 hours per week, with a minimum 6-month commitment.

Applicants' Qualifications: Ideal candidates should be interested in LGBTQ health, punctual, and conscientious. Prior research experience is valuable, but not required.
